How to Prepare for Your Notary Appointment

At Corinne Notary Services, we want to ensure your notarization process is quick and hassle free. Follow these simple steps to be fully prepared for your appointment:

1. Bring a Valid ID

You must present a government issued photo Id for identity verification. Acceptable forms include:

  • Driver’s License or State ID

  • Passport

  • Military ID

  • Green Card or Other Government Issued Identification

2. Have Your Documents Ready

  • Bring the complete document that needs notarization.

  • Do NOT sign the document beforehand The notary must witness your signature.

  • Ensure all blank spaces are filled in, except those requiring a notary.

3. Know the Type of Notarization Needed

If unsure, check with the requesting party. Common notarizations include:

An Acknowledgement Confirms you signed voluntarily.

A Jurat/Oath or Affirmation Requires you to swear or affirm the truthfulness of the document.

4. Bring Required Witnesses (If Needed)

Some documents require witnesses in addition to a notary. If you need us to provide witnesses we can serve you upon notification of this needed service. Witnesses cannot be related to you or have an interest in the document.

5. Payment & Fees

  • Be prepared to pay the notary fee at the time of service.
